She is deeply involved with Internet policy and Internet governance issues nationally as well as globally, and works on a broader level with Internet operational matters, with a focus on Internet interconnection.
Nurani has been active in the Internet community in more than a decade and a half, participating in and speaking at international Internet conferences globally.
Nurani is currently serving on ICANN’s ASO Advisory Council (AC), and she is the chair of the IANA Review Committee. She previously served as vice chair on the CRISP team, tasked to develop a proposal for the IANA Numbering functions for the global Internet Numbers community, in the historical IANA Stewardship transition process. She has served on the IANA MAG and has been active in the Internet technical community for the last two decades.
